Been busy over the last several days working on a new swing set for the girls. I remember my father built one for my brother and I and we played on that thing for years. It was multistory and my memory seems to think it was about 100 ft. tall. Probably not, but it had a ladder to the second story and a platform with a rope swing you could jump off of. We are not quite there yet, but soon. I found a distributer that would sell slides etc. outside of the kit. Maybe after a few more "honey do" items are completed. (see below)
Natalie really liked the swings.
We did discuss a sandbox that is going to make an arrival here soon. With a sandbox, mommy and daddy don't have "push" all the time. We can sit and relax and watch them play. As a family we all enjoy our moments of quiet time. Sweet Pea is getting used to the new swings.
Sweet Pea's new hair cut. Pretty good job for a mom. I guess we are all lucky that mom can cut hair. I haven't been out to see a barber in several years. For what she charges, she does a fantastic job !
My brother has been talking about building one of those kits with the flagpole etc. We are going "kit free" here. We shall see how they both come out.
