Couple of firsts - Again

One of our friends gave us a bicycle for Noodle on Friday. After a few adjustments and a trip to the store for a bike helmet, and ribbons and basket we were off to the church parking lot. Sweet Pea also "scored" as we had to soup up the tricycle for her. Noodle did really well. Few more adjustments are needed. The parking lot has a slight incline so you can give her a push and keep her peddling and she feels the motion of "riding" the bike herself. She did figure out how to break and how to steer. Sweet Pea was just along for the ride on the tricycle since her little legs are not quite long enough to reach the peddles. Hence, the push bar still installed. Item of Note: when you push a 3 year old little girl down the incline of the parking lot and do not run with her, MOM gets very upset be/c she doesn't need to learn to ride a bike through terror. ("That is how I learned," is not the best answer to those comments though.)

While shopping at Target Noodle and I found the Easter Candy section. Yeah, imagine that, our family being mysteriously drawn to the chocolate section of any store. There we found purple chickens. Noodles favorite color is purple and of course who can't be in love with baby chickens. Most other people will know them as "PEEPS". And yes, even for me, I had my first Peep. Not a big fan of them but I did get some Hersery Minitures for mom to make up the difference.

Enjoy the pics, very darn cute if I say so myself.
