CaNoodle Celebrates Turning 2

Our little CaNoodle is growing up so fast and has just rounded the milestone of turning 2. Ok, so the party was on Saturday which works out for everyone's schedule but, officially, she turns 2 on Monday. We all had a great time. Even the Noodle who felt a little left out because at 3 and 1/2 she does not share well, esp. when it comes to getting presents that are not for her. Not to worry, Nana and grandma came in to save the day!

Having lots of friends and family come by and celebrate was a great deal of fun. We put the pool up in the backyard, played in the sandbox, had a go in the swings and everyone pretty much loved the new slide. Hot dogs, burgers, potato salad and "Cowboy beans" were the menu items of the day. And of course there was cake and ice cream for everyone.

The slide was an added bonus to our play structure system in the back yard. Final assembly took place at 11PM on Friday night with a few touch ups on Saturday before the party. It was fun to build but remember, there is nothing in this world so called, free. Our free slide cost a couple of hundred bucks for the fort to mount it to. What they hell, it's just money spent on memories for the girls.

Hey A and O, thanks for the glasses and shoes! Have a great time in Portland!
And thanks to our Nana who we waved goodbye to on Friday for the very special present of PRINCESS SHOES. Everyone has grown up and moving into pre-school and its hard to say good bye, thanks for the wonderful 3 and half years.
That is right, heels for Noodle and CaNoodle. And let me tell you, both of these girls know how to work it. I mean, "work it baby, work it,"
See what I mean!! With the new sholder bag of sand toys and her heels, Noodle is ready to head out to the mall and make sure the economy stays robust and stimulated by infusing cash into it. What have we created?
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for the FROGS (do the all caps note a touch of "gee thanks, you shouldn't have, really, you didn't need to do that....." from the dad who is not wild about frogs?) and the new bug jar containing said frogs. We did get them released last night. Thanks to all who sent gifts and couldn't be here, you were missed. And a big thanks to family and friends, everyone is very important to us.
