Where does it all begin. If you agree that Christmas is about children then we hit that mark on the nose. We had Christmas first at our house. Santa stopped by here twice. Once on Christmas Eve earlier in the evening and then again after everyone went to bed. We told the girls that Santa had packed his sleigh wrong and that their big gift must have been toward the back but the good thing was Santa didn't forget about them. They each received an identical dolly and stroller; complete with milk and juice bottles. Noodle posing in her new robe the next morning.

And then it was off to Cousin A's house. He got a new sister earlier in the year and it was nice to have her up and joining the family. We had a wonderful time. The family was there and the girls got to see everyone. And of course, the spoiling aunts were there and keeping with tradition; lots of loot to be had! And for our journey home, we got to model our pajamas for our older Cousins K and A!
We had to wind down the end of the week. Daddy had to go back to work and mom and the girls stayed home on Wednesday. Reality finally sets back in as they return to school. We are trying to ease them back into our normal routine.

Thursday night, we traveled to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Soccer, Boy Soccer and James were there as well. Apparently, according to Grandma, Santa left presents for Noodle and CaNoodle there. As you can see, Grandma knows a thing or two about little girls and Christmas. It appears that she has been going to Grandma school and is passing all of her classes in spoiling.

All in all, it was a very nice Holiday season for us. We had Thanksgiving with our family in Texas and Christmas with our families in California. The girls got lots of attention to reinforce just how special they are to everyone in their lives. Spoiled, yes a little spoiled but mostly, they already know that. And when it comes right down to is, so are everyone in the life of Noodle and CaNoodle who have the opportunity to be around such wonderful life expressed by two pretty darn cute little girls.
TAG for all of the pictures in our Christmas series.
And to A and OC.... good friends make all the difference
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Our prayers to those who stand in harms way and are away from their families.
