Spring Break - Oh Yeah

This week has been a true humdinger. I was on a vacation / spring break. Did I get to go to Cabo, South Padre Island, Cozumel or Daytona Beach? No I stayed right here in Sacramento; more or less. But I did get to see some "Girls Gone Wild" in action. Keep reading, boyhowdy does it get interesting.

Completed the swing set in the back yard and the girls thought that was absolutely the "cat's meow" or in our case, Kitty, Kitty meow. But they love it none the less. I thought we would like it however, when installing a swing set remember, if your children don't know how to swing, you will be out there pushing them all the time. Need someone trained in swings to come by.

I worked on the webpage a little. www.jancca.com. That is always a lot of fun to me. Working on some interesting story type applications to include. I bought some really cool books off of Amazon. I bought some stamps from the USPS and I painted the bathrooms.

Lets skip to Thursday before we get into the Girls Gone Wild part of the week. Thursday we drove 250 miles to have our picture taken by a really nice woman in Mountain View, CA. www.wineandjam.com. (look for the double belly pic) We had a great time but it's an awful long way when you have troop movement of the girls to bring along. We did find out that Sweet Pea is good for maybe 2 - 2.5 hours in the car before she has had enough of the car seat. God bless the carpool lanes in the Bay Area and dad needs to remember to pack sippy cups next time for everyone. We used our time and made several stops and ended up at Grandpa's house for Pizza with him and Uncle Dreamy.

GIRLS GONE WILD PART
I swear I must have hit my head and while I was unconscious the girls hypnotized me be/c the next thing I know, we are going to a place called John's Incredible Pizza in Roseville. Oh what a wonderful place it was. (Think Chucky Cheese on Steroids.) Noodle ate Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream. Sweet Pea had 3 bites of pizza, a handfull of black olives and some french fries before they all kicked into overdrive. Noodle after chocolate cake and ice cream.

Noodle and Sweet Pea CALLED to the lights!

They had a tea-cup ride. Noodle loved it. Screamed and laughed the entire time.

Sweet Pea, had to find something a little more age appropriate.

And we ended up with a handful of tickets in the end.

We traded the 25 tickets in for a Genuine, Styrofoam Mitsubishi Zero airplane. Don't get me wrong I feel the $23 I spent on meals not eaten and games that didn't amuse me was well worth the trade off for our "prize". The nice thing about the plane is that it has been broken and repaired with scotch tape twice and STILL DOESN'T WORK! Next time, it will be grandma with the funny story and interesting pics of her trip to John's Incredible Pizza!

The girls; they went wild and on the ride home slept most of the way. It was 1030PM before they got into bed and mom was not the least bit happy with me for that. I tried to get out of trouble by saying they had a bagful of Cheerios on the way out to the pizza place! Didn't work. Oh well, at least it's not cold to sleep in the garage these nights.

I certainly hope no one thought there would be actual boobies on MY blog... remember, I am a dad and I am ... you guessed it... Married with Children.... ;)
