Quick Update

What did you do last night? We saw a group of 2 year olds wearing Santa hats sing jingle bells and a group of almost 4 year olds wearing Santa beards sing! Call it what you want but there was some singing and whole lot of cuteness going around! In the picture to the left you can see Noodle's Santa beard. Courtesy of Lands End the girls have matching Christmas dresses they both love to wear.
CaNoodle's class went on first and while there was little singing each child had wrist bells to shake. Their song was Jingle Bells. As you can see in the picture Ms. R was helping each child get it together, but not CaNoodle. Why you ask? CaNoodle and the two little girls next to her were way too busy ringing their bells. That's right. Their excellent, very concentrated bell ringing was sooooo good that it tended to drown out the voices. Besides, all of the parental units were singing along!
Noodle's class followed and just my luck. I was on the wrong side of every anxious parent to get the best picture and Noodle walked over to the other side of the stage. Drats... So I did the best I could given the circumstances. Noodle was quite pleased with herself on the drive over because she could sing the two songs her group did by herself and teach us the words. Pretty cool event. No bells to ring be/c their voices lifted through the crowd. Afterwards there was some punch and cookies and the chance for the proud parents to brag. Click HERE to see more pics.
