It was a dark and stormy night....

(Insert evil laugh here) It's Sunday and it's raining AGAIN. I guess this is what it is like to live in Seattle or Portland. Whatever is going on, I am getting tired of it. Send in the SUN!

Let's just talk about the Mom tonight. You can always click the link to go to the flicker sets.

CaNoodle helped me take the picture while she was drying everyone's hair. Look how wonderful she is.

Life is chugging along. I have been working full time now. Everyone is settling into a routine nicely. I feel like a cowboy in the morning and maybe that is a continuation of my days growing up in the Great State of Texas. By the time I wrestle 3 girls out of the bed, only 1 is a morning person. (CaNoodle; let me go on record, we should change her name to disproportionate. She makes a disproportionate amount of noise and activity for someone her size and age.) Mom drops off in the moring and I pick up in the afternoon. Juggle some time at the gym, some more homework from my on-line classes and presto it makes for long days and tired at night. But all in all, we are well.

NOT even going to drag my soapbox out about the economy and what has happened for the last 10 days. Boy howdy, hang on, I don't think that was the last big hill on the roller coaster ride. We just changed our short term goals, accelerated and pushed out some of our time lines.

Recap of the Flickr photos if you make it that far. Noodle has a big girl bed now. Hair washing is getting easier but sometimes it still takes a lot. Drying is much more fun than washing and everyone is sleeping in their own bed for now. We went through a period of musical beds sometimes twice in the night. Never quite knew where I was going to wake and exactly who was in the bed with me. That made for some restless nights and tired days.
Tip of the hat to Grandma, Grandpa, Soccer and Boy Soccer for Christmas gifts this year. Boy Soccer got the girls board games. CandyLand and Chutes and Ladders. With all of the rain big hit to stay in doors and play games. Rules are peculiar and not at all like (scroll down for the explination of the rules.) I remember but what do I know? And to Grandma and Soccer, the horses are still being ridden all the time. They are not allowed to eat at the table but that doesn't stop the cow girls from sneaking them bites. They are not allowed to be on the table so they are tied to the chairs in waiting. Big Kuddos on that. However, if you think giving them a tamborine would be even funnier... think again!
