We are having a really great time these days. Noodle and CaNoodle are getting along great as sisters. They are learning to play together and to be friendly most of the time. Or so we thought. Sunday evening the Mom and I were enjoying our dinner inside while the girls were enjoying their dinner at the little table on the patio. We turned just in time to see CaNoodle standing in Noodle's chair and Noodle perform a perfect cross check to remove her from the chair. This resulted in CaNoodle going head first onto the concrete patio. Had we be playing hockey fans would have cheered but since we weren't Noodle had to spend 5 minutes in her penalty box / room. Reprive for a hug, a kiss and saying she was sorry.
Although this picture represents the girls playing with stickers; life has been pretty normal . Knock on wood and don't jinx it.
Our next big item this weekend is Dad playing with his new computer. Even though it is not 100% up and running, the old one is being sent off to donation.
As you can see, not everyone agrees and CaNoodle seems to think we should keep it around for a while. Of note, the change in Saturday morning breakfast from pancakes to waffles. The computer turned out to be more fun than the the waffles. The day was beautiful and after breakfast we all headed outside for some "legacy" learning from the Dad.
Growing up, the dad had parents that thought the world of Lagustrum hedges. It was a bi-annual ritual to prune and clean up. So I figured that I should pass along the learning curve that I had come to "enjoy" I managed to teach them that picking up the prunings was in fact, more fun than holding the clippers and doing the pruning. Yeah right, as long as their was a large pile of leaves to walk in or sit in, they were interested.
The other great thing is that they wanted to stand on the ladder be/c it takes true "monkey" talent to stand on the ladder. We spend a great deal of time of two monkey "in the bath tub" and "being goofy" so why not "standing on the ladder?
Those are not sweat bands on the girls. I think that would be wrong to put them into sweat bands and make them work all day. Those are official tattoos that Dad finally learned how to apply. There is a science to them.
Couple of Easter follow up pictures.

When you call on the phone for Coodle or CaNoodle, please give me a break. I am deaf in one eye and blind in one ear and don't hear very well to begin with. Here is the difference when asking. Coodle is older and goes to school, CaNoodle is younger and goes to day care.

Likewise, here is the difference between the Mom and CaNoodle. Mom is Mom and CaNoodle is the little girl. Thanks to Aunt Janet for the hair clips. Bunnies for CaNoodle and chickens for Noodle.
