Tis the season for picnics and gatherings. We have all been very busy with everything that has been going on in our lives. We race through the week between school and work and arrive at the weekend just to be heading off to another adventure. Here CaNoodle is visiting with her new friend Cathy. I think that she was trying to crowd in on the watermellon and CaNoodle wanted nothing of that. She has learned a very new and very important word that is repeated often; "Mine." No worries though, she found the brownies and figured out how to take the top off of the container. She was kind and invited Noodle over and they had way too many brownies for little girls. (Only in the opinion of her parents.)
We also got together recently with some of the girls from our travel group. We had a small reunion as well as gathered with some other girls from Hunan Provence as well.

The four girls standing were all adopted at the same time. They are all within 3 weeks of age of one another. It was nice to get together and see how all of the girls are growing. The young lady sitting is Olive. She is from the same provence. We all had a wonderful time playing and laughing. The girls don't quite grasp the connection but it was nice to see some of the parents we hadn't seen in a year or the last time we saw them they were changing airplanes for their final leg home as we got off in Sacramento.

And since most of our families have siblings we had to get a group picture of everyone who came out for the picnic. We went to the local Zoo and rode on the steam train around the park. Everyone had a great time.
