We have turned the corner, taken down the tree and settled back into reality. The girls are back on their regular routine of going to school and banjo practice. I say banjo practice be/c each in their unique way can strum our last nerve like a banjo player. At times I swear you can hear "Dueling Banjo's" playing in our home.
Not that we have a new dance machine but the girls get their fair share of burn off excess energy at school dancing. We have incorporated that in our home because of the recent rains. Helps to keep the sanity around here and brings forth giggles.
If you look close enough at CaNoodle you will see where she got ahold of a yellow highlighter and was working on her mouth and teeth with it! Point of notice; Noodle has enjoyed playing dress up at her school. They have lot of old clothes they let the kids put on. Mom had this old dress that she never wore and it was on its way to Goodwill but Noodle wanted. After being lectured that we NEVER cut our clothes (Guess that is a rule at her school) with scissors. we custom fit it to her. It is pretty much a nightly fashion statement to put it on. At least now it fits.
My mother is probably rolling over in her grave now. One of the things that was well versed in me was before Christmas day was over, thank you cards had to be written before you went to bed. If not, then all of the toys that were not properly thanked where gone the next day. I didn't get much for Christmas this year be/c in all honesty, its about the girls. I can use the excuse that they can't write very well but in reality, I need to get that cleared up. So to everyone who sent something, Thanks and your card is in the mail.
ps: I am loving my new job!
