We have the good fortune to be trading fevers around the house today. Yesterday, Noodle was down for the count. Although CaNoodle had rosey cheeks she didn't seem to be slowing down. We went running around to give mom and Noodle some space and be quiet. But when I got home with CaNoodle, she was hot. Took her temperature and she was 101.7. Noodle, she was 102.4. Yeah! Later that night, after a trip to the store for more Children's Motrin and some Children's Tylonol we got the fevers in check enough for everyone to sleep... sort of.
This morning Noodle's fever was down to 99.7 and CaNoodle was 102.4. Starting a new regimine of meds and hope that all will be ok. We ended up calling the doctor in the middle of the night and he returned our call with some ideas. OK, so this morning, they drank their juice, they ate a pile of pancakes and are now up to their elbows in play-doh. Hard to imagine they are also sitting there with fevers.
Just keep telling yourself, one day at a time, one day at a time....
PS: The girls did get to go with Grandma and Soccer to Princess on Ice. Big thanks for that fun day!
